The Experiment and Development Departments, called SED, are parts of all Inria Centers. They share the same missions, that follow 3 axes :

  • maintain an expertises network to spread software development good practices and the use of community tools within project-teams,
  • setup, develop and maintain experimental platforms with project-teams,
  • collaborate to the software development, in particular to ADT (Technological Development Action ) within project-teams.

At National Level :

Technological development activities (then SED departments activities) are supervised by the DGD-I , that is also in charge of transfer and industrial partnerships.
