Modifying a submission

How do I avoid losing the ability to modify a submission?

==> If the submissions are made by someone who is likely to leave, you must ask that person to "Assign to other contributor" to one of the co-authors, who will inherit ownership of the submissions (and will therefore be able to modify them in his/her "space").
