You or your co-authors may modify a submission with the article password sent to you by email when you made the submission.
The information officers are informed of the submissions made on HAL-Inria and may, if they consider it necessary, modify the metadata for your submission. (You will be informed by email of the changes made).
Generally, this function is used to clarify a point, correct an error, add key words, etc.
They cannot change the version or the date. Only the metadata can be amended. When the metadata from a previous submission are modified (spelling correction, addition) by an information officer, you will be automatically alerted by email so that you can check what has been done.
If you want someone else to modify your submission, you can share ownership of the submission to him/her. See the section Sharing ownership
